For the third consecutive year, Cinéma Excentris joins Technicolor to launch a contest asking emerging filmmakers to create their official trailer!
Students and aspiring filmmakers are called upon to create 30-second trailers promoting Cinéma Excentris. The cinema incidentally suggests participants to come visit them and discover their website.
The winning team will be determined by a jury of leading actors from the 7th art and the selected trailer will be shown before each presentation of the regular Excentris program.
There will also be several other prizes, such as a gift basket worth $500 offered by the Saint-Laurent Boulevard, a personalized training from the INIS, subscriptions and coupons on equipment rental and trainings at Vidéographe, tickets for the Fantasia and RIDM film festivals, year passes and tickets for Cinéma Excentris as well as subscriptions to the magazine 24 images!
Participants may submit their production as of January 30th until March 24th at concourstechnicolor.cinemaexcentris.com. The productions will be posted on the website where the public can vote for their favourite. The 3 most popular productions will receive prizes!
An award ceremony will be held at Cinéma Excentris on April 1st (don’t worry, it’s not an April fool’s prank, the event will definitely take place!) and the chosen trailer will be revealed!
