About

Schwartz’s restaurant has been known for over 80 years as offering the best smoked meat in Montreal. It was founded in 1928 by Reuben Schwartz’s, a Jewish-Romanian immigrant who is now known all over the world. The restaurant represents a long tradition of innovation and authenticity on the boulevard, as well as contributing to the international reputation of the city. Over the years, this Montreal cornerstone has welcomed a large number of celebrities. It is difficult to say who is more famous; the stars or the restaurant. Prepared according to the same tradition since its opening in 1928, the meat is marinated for 10 days, smoked daily and contains no preservatives.
