It’s already the 43rd edition of Festival du Nouveau Cinema, which begins in October!

Without going into the details of the entire program (which you can find here), it is worth pointing out that the festival opens with a presentation of the film The Good Lie by Philippe Falardeau and ends with Le Sel de la terre, co-directed by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro Salgado.

Update: An innovative tour will be organised by the friends of the boulevard on the 11th and 18th of October as part of the festival.
You can partake in discovering the history of cinema on the Main by stopping at several historical sites (some have changed more than others, however you’ll be able to go inside and visit some of the stops along the way).
The tour will be led by Quebec filmmaker Luc Bourdon. Meeting point is at 10am in front of Cinema L’Amour and the tour is set to end at noon.
