The Inside Out project, created in 2011 by the international artist JR, arrives on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard as part of the MURAL Festival!

Presented by 1MTL, more than 600 portraits of Montrealers will be affixed on the boulevard’s pavement. And since it will be closed to traffic for 11 days, it will be the perfect occasion to enjoy the results.

It took long for spring to arrive in Montreal this year, but now that it’s finally here, the Saint-Laurent Boulevard will be a true beauty!

On Sunday May 24^th at 9am (postponed to the 31st in case of rain), we will hold the first official spring cleaning of the Main. We will have an enhanced cleaning crew that will clean the sidewalks. The Société de développement du boulevard Saint-Laurent promises a wide variety of activities for you to discover Hippozoonomadon, the new temporary installation on Guilbault Street East, supported by the Arrondissement Plateau-Mont-Royal and designed by Design par Judith Portier agency.

Returning for the 3^rd year on the Main, the parklet will be installed as of May 18^th! You’ll find it on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard at the intersection of Bagg Street – right next to Bains Schubert.

Because we love urban art, we of course decided to paint it and it is Montreal artist Beeforeo who will be in charge of the art work. The unique design will convince you to stay a little longer to enjoy your lunch, an ice cream or a coffee purchased in the area.
