Omnivore’s red door, wood sign and numerous plants in the window immediately set the table for the style of this restaurant. The savory smell of its food will literally hit you in the face as you enter. Once in, you'll be faced with a dilemma: choosing what you want to eat, because everything seems so scrumptious! But no matter what you choose, you’ll be satisfied. Omnivore offers delicious “grills” of chicken or beef, either in a sandwich or on a plate served with hummus, salad and rice. On top of that, they have a mezze menu (kind of like Spanish tapas) that is very affordable – ideal to split in a group. Nightlife.ca finds that their salads are some of the best in the city. And they got that right!
