About

Built in 1931, Bain Schubert offered hot water to Montrealers – who didn’t have any at home (yeah, hard to imagine today)! The name of the building comes from its founder, Joseph Schubert, who was the first Jewish city councilor in Montreal.

Today, Bain Schubert serves the same purpose as other public pools: offering the citizens a place to relax or train in different water sports.

The schedules vary with the seasons, so go to the City’s website to know about the different activities.
