NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTIES ON THE BOULEVARD

Get your 2016 shaped glasses out and get ready to say goodbye to 2015 in style!

Whether it was a wonderful, ordinary or bad year, it’s coming to an end and it’s time to look towards the future.

But we’ll let you think about your plans and resolutions quietly on your own. We’re here to present all the choices available to you on the evening of the 31st of December.

Apt. 200 – New Saint-Laurent House Party

The hottest party on the boulevard is presented by Saintwoods and LNDMRK, and will be animated with the music of The Holy, [...]

ART TO ART 2016

For the 2016 edition of Nuit Blanche, we and the MURAL Festival, Les Amis du boulevard St-Laurent and Station 16 are getting together to make you discover the boulevard under a different light (although it’ll be dark outside…crazy)!

We have planned a guided tour for you to discover the murals and historical sites in the area at night (differently from what you’re us [...]

SAMAIN – HALLOWEEN ON THE MAIN

Halloween is most likely the most original and unique celebration of the year and this is why the Saint-Laurent Boulevard decided to celebrate it in style!

The boulevard presents the first edition of Samain – Halloween on the Main!

Inspired by a Gaelic festival celebrating the beginning of the dark season (we know that well in Montreal), we await you at the Parc des Amériques on the 30th and 31st of October for a unique witches market.

Come by the market to get your fortune told, become a part of the witches cult through [...]

CELEBRATE THE FALL/WINTER COLLECTION WITH M0851

The cooler weather and changing leaves can only mean one thing: fall is coming!

Did you react like this when you took out last year’s clothing and accessories from the back of your wardrobe?

Perfectly normal. We’re all wondering what the hell we might have worn last year at the same time.

Anyway, lucky for you, Saint-Laurent’s m0851 is h [...]

2015 JOURNÉES DE LA CULTURE – DOCUMENTARIES AT PARC DES AMÉRIQUES

For the 19th edition of the Journées de la culture, the Saint-Laurent Boulevard decided to do something a little different.

As part of this year’s cinema theme, we will present open-air documentaries about the Saint-Laurent Boulevard! We all know how much the Main has a rich history, so this is a great opportunity to learn even more about it.

Meeting point is at Parc des Amériques on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th of September as of 8pm. On both nig [...]

SAINT-LAURENT PUBLIC PIANO

Although the project “Piano publics de Montréal” is growing from year to year (throughout the city, but also across Quebec!), we still have the chance to have one on the Main!

As of Monday July 6th, the piano can be found at the intersection of Prince-Arthur, and will then be moved at Parc des Amériques (corner Rachel) on August 3rd.

Whether you are a virtuoso, whether y [...]

YOGA IN THE PARK

Yoga is the perfect activity to relax, but what’s even more relaxing, is doing it for free! In collaboration with Moksha Yoga, the Saint-Laurent Boulevard is organizing the 3rd edition of Yoga in the Park.

Whether you are as talented as this little cat or you practice yoga regularly, everyone is welcome! You will need to bring your own gear however.

GRILL SAINT-LAURENT

What makes you think more of Montreal summers than BBQs, terraces and festivals? Perhaps all these three things on Montreal’s The Main.

You’re in luck because we actually have an event that will combine all of this:  the very first edition of Grill Saint-Laurent! From June 8th to the 10th, as part of the MURAL Festival, the boulevard’s restaurant owners will prepare exclusive BBQ dishes – all available for $5!

On the Monday and Tuesday, p [...]

INSIDE OUT

The Inside Out project, created in 2011 by the international artist JR, arrives on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard as part of the MURAL Festival!

Presented by 1MTL, more than 600 portraits of Montrealers will be affixed on the boulevard’s pavement. And since it will be closed to traffic for 11 days, it will be the perfect occasion to enjoy the results.

Inside Out has already taken life in major cities around the world (see [...]

SPRING CLEANING ON THE BOULEVARD

It took long for spring to arrive in Montreal this year, but now that it’s finally here, the Saint-Laurent Boulevard will be a true beauty!

On Sunday May 24th at 9am (postponed to the 31st in case of rain), we will hold the first official spring cleaning of the Main. We will have an enhanced cleaning crew that will clean the sidewalks. In addition, a company will be hired to clean storefronts vandalized by graffiti. Thereafter, we will install art work in the form of anti-graffiti vinyl created by Ricardo C [...]
