For the 19th edition of the Journées de la culture, the Saint-Laurent Boulevard decided to do something a little different.
As part of this year’s cinema theme, we will present open-air documentaries about the Saint-Laurent Boulevard! We all know how much the Main has a rich history, so this is a great opportunity to learn even more about it.
Meeting point is at Parc des Amériques on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th of September as of 8pm. On both nights, the movies will end at around 10pm.
Friday: Adultes avec réserve (in French, without subtitles) and This Beggar’s Description (in English, with subtitles).
Saturday: Une rue de lait et de miel (in French, without subtitles) and Chez Schwartz (in both languages, with subtitles).
In case of rain, the movies will be shifted by one day. In case of rain on the Sunday, we must unfortunately cancel.
Although there will be picnic tables and seats, we recommend that you bring your own chairs if you have any.
Nevertheless, you’ll be able to get as much free popcorn as you want!
Use the event’s official hashtag (#Jdelaculture) as well as ours (#LaMain) to be part of the conversation!
Here’s the promo video we produced with Journées de la culture. We promise the sound will be better during the movies.
