You thought you were losing the weight you put on during the holidays? Ha. Ha. Ha. Too bad for your resolution because Poutine Week is back from February 1st to the 7th!
Three restaurants on the Main have prepared an exclusive poutine and here they are!
La Cabane – Bitoque Poutine
Bitoque is a typical Portuguese dish consisting of thin slices of meat covered with an egg and usually accompanied with fries, rice and crudités.
La Cabane has gathered these ingredients (minus the rice and vegetables) with some cheese curds and chorizo sauce to create their unique poutine.
McKibbin’s Irish Pub – Chicken piri-piri poutine
The fries are covered with grilled piri-piri chicken and cheese curds, as well as a spicy garlic, paprika and lemon sauce, with cilantro aioli and spicy grilled vegetables salsa.
Burger Royal – “It’s a Meatball” poutine
Burger Royal is doing a concoction of ricotta meatballs with the traditional cheese curds covered with their Sunday gravy (tomato gravy) on a bed of fries, of course.
