How to participate?

If you are…

A merchant of Saint-Laurent boulevard:

All shops and businesses located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard between Sherbrooke Street and Mont-Royal Avenue are members of the Société de développement du boulevard Saint-Laurent, so you can take part in our summer events without charge on a priority basis. However, you do have to register at least 60 days before the start of the first outdoor event of the summer. Please note that it is strictly forbidden at any time during the events to rent the space that has been allotted to you on public property to a third party.

To apply, please contact Alfonso Esparza, Executive Assistant, Member services, at 514 286-0334 or at aesparza@boulevardsaintlaurent.com.

Exhibitor, sponsor:

Each of our events attracts more than 250,000 people over four days and offers great opportunities for promotion. Partnership carries with it other significant benefits as well.

If you are interested to participate, please contact Laure de La Moussaye, Business Development Manager – marketing & culture at 514 286.0334 or at ldelamoussaye@boulevardsaintlaurent.com.

An artisan:

LTo sell your goods on Saint-Laurent during our summer events, you have to have an artisan’s permit from the City of Montreal. To obtain a permit, artisans have to submit their merchandise and products to a jury for evaluation. We accept only artisans with a municipal permit because Main Madness is a promotional event intended exclusively for the merchants and business people on Saint-Laurent Boulevard. We do not want to create any more competition for them by allowing street vendors with different products to set up shop here during our events. The permit issued by the city is proof the artisan is selling unique, high-quality, handmade goods. There is a cost involved for artisans who want to set up on the street. The fee is subject to change from year to year. Space is limited, so apply early!

To apply, please contact Alfonso Esparza, Executive Assistant, Member services, at 514 286-0334 or at aesparza@boulevardsaintlaurent.com.

Artist or entertainer:

We are looking for artists and new talents (musicians, dancers, acrobats, singers, etc.) to provide entertainment on the street during our events The street fairs are excellent opportunities for young artists to promote themselves, but they are a very special setting; artists have to be able to adapt to the demands of performing outdoors.

If you are interested to participate, please contact Laure de La Moussaye, Business Development Manager – marketing & culture at 514 286.0334 or at ldelamoussaye@boulevardsaintlaurent.com.
